VACUNACIÓN DEL PACIENTE PEDIÁTRICO RECEPTOR DE PROGENITORES HEMOPOYÉTICOS

Resumen


Introducción: El niño en programa de trasplante de progenitores hemopoyéticos presenta un estado de inmunosupresión que le hace más susceptible a padecer enfermedades infecciosas. Nos encontramos ante la necesidad de establecer recomendaciones de vacunación específicas para cubrir sus necesidades inmunitarias. Método: El método utilizado ha sido una revisión bibliográfica, se ha utilizado como principal recurso Internet, realizando búsquedas en bases de datos científicas y páginas web de organismos oficiales. Resultados: La inmunidad adquirida previamente al trasplante se pierde generalmente, siendo necesaria la reinmunización del paciente y, la elección del momento más adecuado para ello es fundamental para obtener una respuesta óptima.
